Zainab Obaidi is a nephrologist whose clinical interests are focused on glomerular disease and thrombotic microangiopathies. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Investigative Medicine High Impact Case Reports and Annals of Internal Medicine.
Obaidi earned her MBBS from the University of Sharjah College of Medicine in the United Arab Emirates. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where she was named chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in nephrology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a master of education in health professions from Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
