Stephen Pophal

Stephen Pophal specializes in pediatric cardiology and treats children of all ages with heart conditions.

His research has been published in the Journal of Invasive Cardiology, Pediatric Transplantation, The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation, Perfusion, Pediatric Cardiology, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, and Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Pophal received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
