Rohan Kalathiya is an interventional cardiologist specializing in the treatment of coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and valvular heart disease. He performs a wide range of procedures, including coronary angiogram, balloon angioplasty, atherectomy, thrombectomy, intravascular imaging, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and percutaneous mechanical circulatory support.
His research on management of heart failure and cardiogenic shock has been published in several journals, including the Journal of Invasive Cardiology, JACC: Heart Failure, and Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
Kalathiya received his MD from the University of Kentucky and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Osler Medical Residency Training Program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He subsequently completed his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of Chicago.
