Rebeca Ortiz Worthington

Rebeca Ortiz Worthington is a general internal medicine physician whose clinical interests include women’s health, breast cancer risk assessment and prevention, menopause, contraception counseling, and health care disparities. She serves as a core faculty member and co-director of recruitment for the internal medicine residency program, and as co-director of the women’s health track in the internal medicine residency program.

Her work has been published in Academic Medicine and MedEdPortal.

Ortiz Worthington earned a BA in human biology from Stanford University and an MS in medical education from the University of Pittsburgh. She received her MD from the University of Chicago, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. She then completed a fellowship in general internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.
