Marielena Bachier-Rodriguez is a board-certified pediatric general surgeon who specializes in infantile pyloric stenosis, atresia of the small intestine, gastroschisis, undescended testicle, and orchiectomy.
Her research has been published in Pediatric Annals, Seminars in Pediatric Surgery, Injury, Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, American Journal of Surgery, and Nutrition in Clinical Practice.
Bachier-Rodriguez received an MD from the University of Puerto Rico, where she also completed a residency in general surgery. She completed a fellowship at Saint Louis University, as well as a pediatric surgery fellowship at the University of Chicago and a pediatric critical care fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
