Manik Amin

Manik Amin specializes in medical oncology with a focus on upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, such as esophageal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. She also focuses on rare lower GI cancers, such as anal squamous cell carcinoma.

Her findings have been published in Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer Immunology, Immunotherapy, American Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Oncology, Abdominal Radiology, Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, Acta Radiologica, Human Pathology, Current Problems in Cancer: Case Reports, and Oncotarget.

Amin earned an MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in India. She completed an internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. She then completed fellowships in hematology-oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and Washington University in St. Louis. Her clinical and research track at Washington University in St. Louis focused on GI cancers and phase I/II clinical trials, including investigator initiated trials with novel agents and immunotherapy in GI cancers. Most recently, she was an assistant professor of medical oncology at Dartmouth Cancer Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
