Kurt Alberson

Kurt Alberson’s research focuses on student and resident teaching, particularly in such high-distraction environments as the operating room and intensive care unit. He is also interested in how to optimize the implementation and uptake of new evidence from the literature within clinical practice.
His research has been published in Academic Medicine and Medical Education.
Alberson graduated summa cum laude in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He earned an MD from the University of Chicago, where he also completed an internal medicine internship followed by an anesthesiology residency. He then completed a fellowship in anesthesiology critical care at the University of Michigan.
