Kevin Johnson is a board-certified pediatric surgeon who treats a wide range of pediatric conditions, including neonatal diseases, congenital malformations, vascular malformations, hepatobiliary disease, and aerodigestive diseases. He specializes in complex surgical techniques, including pediatric minimally invasive surgery and image-guided surgery.

Johnson’s research primarily focuses on advancements in minimally invasive and image-guided surgical techniques and new technologies in pediatric surgery. His research has been published in Journal of Laparoendoscopic & Advanced Surgical Techniques, Journal of Pediatric Surgery, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, Seminars in Pediatric Surgery, and American Surgeon.

He earned a BS in human biology with honors from the University of Oregon. He received an MD from Emory University and completed a surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Phoenix. He completed fellowships in pediatric surgical critical care, pediatric innovation, and image-guided surgery at the University of Michigan, followed by a pediatric surgery fellowship at the University of Florida.
