Joshua Pan is an anesthesiologist and comprehensive interventional pain physician whose research includes pain management, pain mechanisms, and neuromodulation. As a pain physician he treats a wide spectrum of chronic pain disease, including chronic low back and neck pain, spinal stenosis and associated leg pain, chronic knee and shoulder pain, nerve pain from diabetes and chemotherapy, and complex regional pain syndrome. As an anesthesiologist, he works to provide quality anesthetic care, while optimizing perioperative pain management with regional anesthesia.
His work has been published in Anesthesiology and Endocrinology.
Pan received a BS in biology from Wake Forest University and an MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed an internship, anesthesiology residency, and comprehensive pain and spine medicine fellowship at Atrium Health/Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
