Henry David’s clinical and research interests are neurocritical care outcomes and neonatal neurology, as well as general neurology. He is a pediatric neurology attending physician with an emphasis in neurocritical care at the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital.
His clinical endeavors include starting neonatal neurology and brain injury follow-up clinics, as well as developing neurocritical care protocols. His research has appeared in Pediatric Emergency Care and Neuroscience.
David received an MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a BS in biological sciences with a minor in Spanish language and literature from the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed a general pediatrics residency followed by a child neurology residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), where he won the CHLA Fellow Teaching Award. He has also received the Gold Humanism Award from the Arnold P. Gold Foundation.
