Dinesh Kurian’s interests include mechanical circulatory support, transesophageal echocardiography, critical care, and health economics. His research has been published in Seminars in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, Case Reports in Pediatrics, the International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing, and Transfusion.
Kurian obtained a BS in biology from Boston College and an MD from Boston University School of Medicine. While in medical school, he also earned an MBA in health sector management from Boston University School of Management. He completed his internship and residency in the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University, as well as fellowships in cardiothoracic anesthesiology and critical care.
