Anthony Lee Zhang

Assistant Professor
Chicago Booth and the College

Anthony Lee Zhang studies questions in market design. His work covers financial derivatives, housing markets, and the allocation of natural resources such as land and electromagnetic spectrum.

His work has been published in the journals Economics Letters and Regulation. A recipient of the 2019 AQR Top Finance Graduate Award, Zhang participated in the Facebook Fellowship Program in 2018 and was named one of Pacific Standard’s “Top 30 Thinkers under 30” in 2017.

Zhang earned a PhD in economic analysis and policy from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an AB in economics from the University of Chicago, where he received the Becker Friedman Institute Award for Academic Achievement in Microeconomics.
