Amita Singh is a non-invasive cardiologist whose research focuses on the study of novel imaging techniques within cardiac imaging to improve the accuracy and diagnosis of common cardiac conditions. She has studied newer methods for analysis of diastolic function with echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in patients with cardiac devices.
Her work has appeared in JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging, Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and American Journal of Cardiology.
Singh received her MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency, chief residency, and preventive cardiology fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center, followed by general cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging fellowships at the University of Chicago.
