Abid Khan is a trauma and acute care surgeon whose research interest is clinical outcomes in trauma and emergency general surgery. He is board-certified in general surgery and critical care by the American Board of Surgery and is dedicated to providing high-quality trauma and emergency general surgery care to his patients.
Khan’s work on traumatic brain injury, cervical spine injuries, duodenal injuries, and other topics has been published in American Journal of Surgery, American Surgeon, Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, and Journal of the American College of Surgeons.
He received an MD from Wayne State University and completed a residency in general surgery at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and Rush University Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at Loyola University Chicago.
