Thomas Stricker

Department of Pathology

Thomas Stricker’s goal for research is to use emerging genomics technologies to better understand the molecular mechanisms underlying disease heterogeneity in cancer. His awards and honors include Phi Beta Kappa (1996) and Pulmonary Pathology Society Outstanding United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology presentation in 2007.

Stricker holds a BS in biochemistry (with honors and highest distinction) from the University of Iowa and an MD and a PhD in molecular cell biology from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He was an anatomic pathology resident in the Department of Pathology at the University of Chicago and is certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomical pathology.

Stricker joined the University of Chicago faculty in 2010.
