Satyajit Kosuri’s interests are focused on stem cell transplantation for patients diagnosed with acute leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, and myelofibrosis. His clinical research interests involve improving patient access to transplant through the use of alternative donor strategies and utilizing novel immunotherapeutic approaches in patients with myeloid malignancies.
He received his MD from Ross University School of Medicine on Dominica, in the West Indies, followed by internal medicine residency training at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he also served as chief resident. He completed his fellowship training in hematology/oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He recently participated in a two-year fellowship program in adult bone marrow transplantation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
