Department of Medicine
Nabil Abou Baker is a general internal medicine–pediatrics physician. In addition to his interest in primary care, he is also focused on improving transitions of care between internal medicine and pediatrics for patients with chronic illnesses, as well as medical education. He is currently serving as a preceptor in the Medicine-Pediatrics Clinic and cares for both children and adults in the Primary Care Group.
He holds a BS in biological sciences magna cum laude from Florida International University and an MD from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where he participated in its Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved program. He completed his internal medicine–pediatrics residency training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where, during his final year, he served as chief resident.
