Michele Nassin is interested in stem cell transplantation and, more specifically, in understanding and optimizing immune reconstitution following stem cell transplantation for both malignant and non-malignant diseases. Her research has been published in the American Journal of Hematology, Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, Frontiers in Pediatrics, Pediatric Annals, and the Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Nassin earned a BS in molecular and cellular biology with distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MD from Rush Medical College. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago.
