As a maternal-fetal physician, Julia Bregand-White provides care for women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. Her clinical interests include hypertensive disease and preventing preterm birth. She specializes in the management of medical complications and disorders of pregnancy, including diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, renal disease, multiple gestations, fetal growth restriction, and premature birth problems.
In addition to her clinical work, Bregand-White is currently involved in research aimed at discovering the relationship between preeclampsia, endothelial dysfunction, and cardiovascular health. Her findings have been published in Pregnancy Hypertension: An International Journal of Women’s Cardiovascular Health, PLOS ONE, the American Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
She received her MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. She then completed a residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh.
