Anna Biernacka

Anna Biernacka is a practicing anatomic pathologist. Her research has been published in Clinical Cancer Research, the American Journal of Pathology, Cytojournal, Cancer Genetics, and Circulation: Heart Failure.

She received an MD cum laude from the Medical University of Lodz in Poland and also earned a PhD in cancer biology from its Graduate School. She completed a residency program in anatomic pathology at the Medical University of Lodz, after which she held a surgical pathology observership and a postdoctoral fellowship in breast cancer research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. In addition, Biernacka completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine; a residency program in anatomic pathology at Baylor College of Medicine; a cytopathology fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center; and a breast pathology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
