Stephanie Lichtor

Stephanie Lichtor’s scholarly interests include global mental health, pediatric obsessive-compulsive disorder, and collaborations between pediatrics and psychiatry.

She has participated in research in genetics, epigenetics, primary care screening of risky adolescent behavior, and prescription drug abuse, presenting posters and publishing articles related to this work. She also published a review article about cancer-related posttraumatic stress disorder in the Brown University Child and Adolescent Behavior Letter.

Lichtor holds a BA with distinction in biology, minors in chemistry and psychology, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her MD from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed a combined residency in pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry (triple board) at Brown University. She also served as a chief resident in her final year.
