Sarah Latif Nizamuddin

Sarah Latif Nizamuddin is an anesthesiologist, whose research has been published in the International Journal of Obstetric Anesthesia and Pain Physician. She has also presented at annual meetings of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology.

She earned a BA in human biology with distinction from the University of Kansas and an MD from its School of Medicine, where she received the Janet M. Glasgow-Rubin Achievement Citation, awarded to the top female medical students. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Brown University and residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She worked as a clinical instructor and staff anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. Most recently, she completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
