She provides comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology care, including the diagnosis and management of breathing disorders, congenital neck masses, recurrent ear infections, and obstructive sleep apnea. She has a particular clinical interest in treating airway and swallowing abnormalities. In addition to her commitment to quality care for patients and their family members, she is also actively engaged in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. Her research has been published in JAMA Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology.
Shogan received her undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University and an MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey–New Jersey Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in otolaryngology at the University of Chicago, as well as a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
