Jennifer T. Cone is a fellowship-trained surgeon with specialties in trauma, acute care, and critical care surgery. She also performs general surgical procedures. Cone is an active researcher and educator with a strong interest in violence prevention and recovery programs. She has served as a visiting instructor on advanced trauma life support and first responder practices internationally, including in Cambodia and Myanmar. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centered clinical care, using the most current evidence to create optimal surgical outcomes.
Cone, a Chicago native, received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in general surgery. She completed a fellowship in surgical critical care and trauma surgery at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center.
