Mim Ari

Mim Ari is a general internist with an interest in integration of substance use disorder screening and treatment into primary care, as well as safe pain management strategies. A dedicated clinician-educator, she is interested in teaching these concepts to medical students and residents. Her academic interests also include innovations in curriculum development and giving medical students authentic roles in patient care. Her clinical interests include comprehensive primary care, addiction, and behavioral health.

Ari received a BA in psychology from Georgetown University and an MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Colorado, where she served as chief resident.
