Peter O'Donnell

Peter O’Donnell is currently researching genitourinary cancers in the Section of Hematology/Oncology. During his fellowship in hematology/oncology, he received many prestigious honors, including the highly competitive Future Leaders in Translational Medicine Award from the American Association of Cancer Researchers, an international recognition given to only five young investigators each year. He was also selected for an American Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Presidential Training Award and an American Society for Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award. He is affiliated with the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Human Genetics.

O’Donnell received his MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2003. He completed his residency (2006) and fellowship (2009) at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

O'Donnell joined the University of Chicago faculty in 2010.
