Josephine Kim

Josephine Kim specializes in providing comprehensive care for women with gynecologic malignancies. Her focus is on providing individualized and compassionate care to women diagnosed with ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers.

Her recent research has focused on endometrial cancer prevention using potential chemopreventive agents and on postoperative chemotherapy duration in ovarian cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy. She is also interested in quality improvement and surgical outcomes research. Her findings have been published in the American Journal of Clinical and Experimental Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology Case Reports, Supportive Care in Cancer, and Clinical and Experimental Metastasis.

Kim received her MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Chicago/NorthShore University HealthSystem.
