Deepa Sheth’s clinical interests include interventional breast procedures, as well as new and advanced forms of breast imaging, such as three-dimensional mammography (tomosynthesis), automated whole breast ultrasound (ABUS), and breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Her research interests include MRI and early detection of breast cancer.
Her research has been published in the American Journal of Roentgenology, European Journal of Radiology, Journal of Vascular Interventional Radiology, and Seminars in Interventional Radiology.
She received a BS in biological sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MD from its College of Medicine. She completed her internship at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin, as well as a diagnostic radiology residency and a breast imaging fellowship at the University of Chicago.
