Daniel Cozadd specializes in cardiac and cardiothoracic surgery. His clinical interests include cardiothoracic surgical critical care, heart and lung transplantation, left and right ventricular assist devices, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. He has authored case reports, literature reviews, and retrospective studies, and participated in a prospective study as a clinical investigator.
Cozadd received a BS from Illinois State University and pursued postgraduate studies in biology at Duquesne University. He earned a DO from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Pennsylvania, and completed a general surgery residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center, which is affiliated with Michigan State University. He also held clinical fellowships in cardiothoracic surgery and anesthesia critical care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Cozadd was previously an instructor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Critical Care at Covenant HealthCare, which is affiliated with Central Michigan University.
