Amanda Silva is a plastic surgeon whose area of focus is cancer- and trauma-related reconstructive surgery, including advanced techniques in free flap breast reconstructions, lymphedema surgery, limb salvage, and head and neck reconstruction, including facial reanimation. Her research has been published in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
She received a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Chicago Medicine, followed by a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at New York University Langone Health.
