Jason Alexander

Jason Alexander is a general internist with a particular interest in developing and implementing data-driven curricula to educate resident physicians on their individual practice habits and ensure the delivery of high-quality primary care to patients. He serves as director of the evidence-based medicine curriculum for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Chicago. 

He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of General Internal Medicine.

Alexander received his BA in music and chemistry with highest honors from Emory University and completed his MD at the Emory University School of Medicine. During his internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago, he received the Resident Teaching Award and was elected by his peers to serve as a liaison with program leadership and nursing staff regarding all matters pertaining to the outpatient clinical experience. He completed his chief residency in the internal medicine and transitional year programs at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois, where he also developed a sub-internship curriculum.
