Annie Amin

Annie Amin has contributed to a number of research studies, including a comparison of the Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA) Flexible with endotracheal intubation for adenotonsillectomy in pediatric patients, a multicenter study to collect data about the medical care of children undergoing craniofacial surgical procedures, and an inquiry regarding anesthesia-induced neuronal cell death in the developing brain. She has presented at annual meetings of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and the International Anesthesia Research Society.

Amin earned a BS in biopsychology from the University of Michigan and an MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. After participating in an internship in medicine at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, she completed her residency in anesthesia and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the University of Chicago.
